Thank you for checking out my OSINT blog. I have created this because I think it is important for people to understand what is happening as it happens. Media often reports stories as just this big thing, or in a biased way (which these daily briefs actually show). I present what is happening sequentially, as it happens in time, or as close to that as possible.

I wish the media would wake up the the usefulness of this and ask for data access. Academia, too. Where are the scientists and citizen scientists? Where are the social scientists? Where are the investigative journalists?

That’d be cool if they realized the usefulness of this. They can email me at info@verdantintel.com for access. This kind of information shows the whole picture, which empowers journalism, if they use it.

But I really made this for us everyday people. I want my community, my family, and I to know what is happening around us and to be safe. And I want the same for you.

If you value being informed on what is happening, please subscribe. And if you want to really support this effort, please become a paying subscriber. No one pays me to do this.

I originally created this series to track Hantavirus, but then I noticed that an Ebola outbreak had occurred and decided to track that as well. But I have data to keep up with anything, so I will rename this series and set individual topics.
